Event Details

The Central Coast of NSW is one of the fastest growing areas in Australia. Increasing population and development, coupled with the potential risks from climate change will provide a number of challenges and opportunities in this dynamic region.

The National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility, in partnership with the University of Newcastle, support research projects that develop information vital for making decisions that account for climate change in the Hunter and Central Coast regions. From sea-level rise, to flash floods and long term drought, new knowledge will enable us to take advantage of opportunities and reduce hazards from the far reaching effects of climate change along the central coast and inland.

NCCARF will showcase priority adaptation issues and facilitate a conversation in adaptation in your region by providing a forum for decision makers to interact with local researchers.
